REFOCUS is a project on innovation in training. The expected innovative contribution relates to the method adopted in the training, which is particularly focused on eLearning, and to the target population, which is a specific category of workers, those aged over 45 years, who are highly affected by the demographic and social changes in Europe.

The European Union supports the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the South Caucasus Region. In a Technical Assistance project Universities and the national Research and Educational Networking Associations (ARENA, AzRENA, GRENA) will be provided with Hard- and Software and with expert know how to develop distance learning / e-Learning applications.In each country a development center (content factory) with the adequate technical equipment and a team of experts will be established. In close cooperation with local universities internet based lectures will be developed. Until September 2007 the IMC consortium, that had been selected by the EC will manage and support this project.
